Instantly recognisable dish on every curry house in the world. The traditional jalfrezi is wildly different from the sauce-based richer flavour, it is supposed to be a semi hot fresh, flavourful stir fry affair with spice, sweet, sour and tangy elements coming together. The region itself is took a lot of influence from the Chinese immigrants and adapted their cuisine accordingly to create this fantastic dish balancing onions, peppers, green chillies and spice.
